Fall 08 Mary WOOT! Is is that time of year again, where I get to think really hard about who has been working and who I think deserves to be named the ultimate Bastard. In plain terms, this is the Bastard of the Quarter. In my terms, this is the person who busts their ass every time they are here and doesn’t complain, just gets shit done. This time, Mary was the person that immediately came to my mind. Mary is and has always been so disgustingly perky and willing to help at all times that, at some times, it did make me a little ill. She started out here with the Bastards by bribing us with cakes and goodies and things to worm her way into our cold hearts. (LOL) She is always has a suggestion for whatever it is we are doing, and doesn’t get offended if we don’t use it or go with something else, which is awesome. Most people totally can’t do that. Mary also has great costumes consistently, and does Tech, Transie, and Core without missing a beat. She doesn’t mind taking one for the team if she needs to, and is really one of those people that does things with the good of the cast in mind, which is also really amazing. We appreciate her so very much, for so many crooked reasons. In particular she was one of the driving forces behind ideas in Labyrinth, even though she didn’t particularly want to be involved, she got drug into it anyway and ended up with a fantastic costume and blue hands (yes those were the Helping Hands). So thank you, Mary, for what you have done and what you will undoubtedly continue to do during your tenure here. We love you!!!! Madame Leah
